Some of my students' work |
In March, Ms. Green, the art teacher, taught my students how to draw a scene from
The Cat in the Hat. They started with a warm-up sheet with items like an umbrella, a fish in a bowl, and a ball. This was their first art project with her (first and fourth graders have art the last trimester - March, April, and May - this year). Ms. Green used this lesson to teach about line, composition, and shading.
